After breakfast drive to Memphis at the edge of the Western Desert, the
capital of the ancient kingdom, and one of the most important cities
throughout the history of Ancient Egypt. From here we drive to Sakkara,
the vast necropolis of Ancient Memphis. Visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser
(3rd Dynasty, 2668 BC - 2649 BC). Then visit the Pyramid of Unas, the
last kind of the 5th Dynasty. In the afternoon, drive to the Pyramids of
Giza. Cheops Pyramid, the largest of the three, was built in the 4th
dynasty about 2690 BC, and is one of the seven wonders of the ancient
world. In front of the Pyramid of Chephren (Khafre), there stands the
Sphinx carved from a single piece of stone. It is a lion with a
Pharaoh's head thought to be a portrait of the Pharaoh Chephren (Kafre).

Breakfast, then start your tour visiting the Egyptian Museum famous for
its antiquities from Egypt's Pharaonic period, which dates back some 50
centuries and includes the fabulous treasures of King Tut-Ankh-Amon.
P.M. drive to the pyramids of Giza. Cheops pyramid, the largest of the
three, was built in the 3rd dynasty about 2690 B.C., and is one of the
seven wonders of the ancient world. In front of the pyramids of
Chephren, we find the sphinx carved from a single piece of stone, it is
a lion with a pharaoh's head thought to be a portrait of the pharaoh
Chephren. Have a camel ride by the pyramids area and visit the Papyrus
Institution. Return to your hotel to your hotel for an overnight. (B) |
| Day 03 - Cairo
Alexandria |
| Breakfast, then transfer from Cairo to
Alexandria (about a 3-hour ride). Upon arrival, start your sightseeing
by visiting Abu El Abbas Mosque, followed by a visit to Qait Bay Fort,
this 15th century fort at the tip of eastern harbor, is the
site where one of the ancient seven wonders once stood. The Pharaohs
light House inside the fort, a small naval museum houses model of ships
and historic scenes. Then visit the Roman amphitheater, which is the
only known Amphitheater from the Roman Era in Egypt. Continue your tour
to the Montazah Palace and Gardens, 350 acres of Park, gardens and
beaches at the eastern end of Alexandria. The palace was constructed in
1892 by King Farouk`s great grandfather as a summer residence. Transfer

visit the temple of Karnak, which took over 1500 years to build and is
considered the worlds largest religious complex. Then a visit to the
temple of Luxor, which was started by Amenhotep III and completed by

| Breakfasts, then cross to the west bank of
the Nile to visit the Necropolis of Ancient Thebes. Explore the valley
of Kings and Queens where tombs of 64 pharos and 57 queens have been
discovered, and enter some of the most remarkable burials. Visit the
Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari and Colossi of Memnon.
Lunch, sail to Esna. Cross the lock. Continue to Edfu. Dinner and
overnight on board your cruise ship. (B, L, D)

| Breakfast, and then visit the temple of
Horus in Edfu (237 BC), the best-preserved Egyptian temple in existence.
Lunch, Sail to Kom-Ombo. Visit the Temple shared by the two gods Sobek

After breakfast drive to Memphis at the edge of the Western Desert, the
capital of the ancient kingdom, and one of the most important cities
throughout the history of Ancient Egypt. From here we drive to Sakkara,
the vast necropolis of Ancient Memphis. Visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser
(3rd Dynasty, 2668 BC - 2649 BC). Then visit the Pyramid of Unas, the
last kind of the 5th Dynasty. In the afternoon, drive to the Pyramids of
Giza. Cheops Pyramid, the largest of the three, was built in the 4th
dynasty about 2690 BC, and is one of the seven wonders of the ancient
world. In front of the Pyramid of Chephren (Khafre), there stands the
Sphinx carved from a single piece of stone. It is a lion with a
Pharaoh's head thought to be a portrait of the Pharaoh Chephren (Kafre).

| Breakfast, then start your tour by visiting

Salah El-Din and the Mohammed Ali and the Sultan Hassan Mosques,
